Eurobodalla Shire recognised Mogo as offering a prime opportunity to grow outdoor active tourism and encourage the local community to be more active via better and more strategically planned usage of its natural landscapes. With existing informal and formal trails of a grassroots nature the strategy and master plan identified current trail assets and recommended further development to engage outdoor active users that would best position the region as a premier adventure trail destination. The recommendations in the master plan has been successfully funded by the NSW Government. Penny led this project on behalf of TRC.
