This Master Plan focused on the development, management and interpretation of heritage and nature based tourism on a remote island group off the coast of Western Australia. The master plan included recommendations are for activities and developments that are compatible with protection of the islands’ significant marine and terrestrial environments and the site of the 1629 shipwreck of the Batavia.
