Penny Spoelder is the founder and Director of Global Instinct. A sustainable tourism expert, Penny works at multiple levels of tourism planning, destination development, and project delivery with Governments and communities around the world. Holding a Master’s Degree in Public Administration, Graduate Diploma in Environmental Science (Charles Sturt University), and a Bachelor of Arts (Leisure and Recreation), combined with extensive public sector experience, and a strong focus on sustainable tourism, Penny’s leadership and strategic advice on sustainable tourism and destination planning is world-class.
Specialising in destination planning and strategy, project design and management, business planning and development, and government reform, Penny has strong facilitation, co-design, and community development skills. She is an award-winning consultant who has led the planning and management of some of Australia’s most notable destinations and worked extensively in the Asia Pacific Region and the Middle East.
