Penny led this project on behalf of TRC which was conducted with Locales (an interpretation concept company) and dsb Landscape Architects. The Concept Plan and Interpretation Strategy aimed to provide high-quality recreation, interpretative, learning and education experiences for visitors and the local community. Extensive consultation with managers, researchers and the community was conducted to assist in development of concepts. The project identified interpretative themes and storylines (relating to natural and cultural values and ecological restoration); gateways; interpretative hubs; storytelling loops; and recommendations for signage, digital mobile and online interpretation.
