Penny is leading the development of the first Destination and Industry Standard for Sustainable Tourism in alignment with the GSTC criteria in association with TRC. The project involved working with the Pacific Tourism Organisation, a multi-stakeholder Regional Working Group executing the initiative. The Pacific Island Member Countries of SPTO and key partners such as the GSTC, UNWTO, MFAT, UNDP as well as relevant international and regional organisations were consulted as part of the process.
